And with that, April wedding season has officially come to a close. Collin and Katelyn’s wedding at Locust Grove was perfect. From the start, their day felt intentional, calm, and deeply centered on connection.
Set against the historic beauty of Locust Grove, this spring wedding embraced simplicity in the best way. Soft sunlight filtered through the trees. Fresh greenery framed every moment. Meanwhile, a classic black and white color palette created a clean, elegant look. Simple white florals with greenery added just the right touch of softness without overpowering the natural setting.
Instead of a traditional wedding party, Collin and Katelyn chose to keep things intimate. As a result, the day flowed effortlessly. They spent more time together. They stayed fully present. And most importantly, they soaked in every moment with the people who matter most.
Their ceremony, officiated by the bride’s brother, felt heartfelt and genuine. They shared their first kiss and were officially announced as husband and wife!
Then, as the celebration continued, the energy shifted in the best way. A live band kicked off the reception, and the dance floor quickly filled. Friends and family celebrated freely, exactly as Collin and Katelyn had hoped. To end the night, the newlyweds shared a hot dog for a late night snack. The energy was infectious during the last few songs by the band. Guests gathered with pom poms for Katelyn and Collin’s grand exit.
Congratulations to The Remmers!
Throughout the day, every detail reflected their laidback personalities. Nothing felt rushed. Nothing felt forced. Instead, the entire day unfolded naturally, allowing real moments to shine.
Ultimately, this Wedding at Locust Grove was a reminder that meaningful celebrations don’t need to be complicated. With thoughtful choices, a stunning setting, and a focus on connection, Collin and Katelyn created a day that felt both effortless and unforgettable.
