September must be the best time to get married because I’ve been BUSY! This past weekend I had a double header, back to back weddings on Saturday and Sunday. I’m pooped but I couldn’t have chosen 2 better couples to spend my weekend with. I started with Emily and Levi – keep scrolling for a sneak peek at their Southern Indiana Wedding Photography.
Levi + Emily Southern Indiana Wedding Photography
Levi and Emily got married at Lakeside Reflections in Southern Indiana and they could not have chosen a more beautiful September day. I started my day with the girls as they put the finishing touches on their wedding looks. Then I headed to where the guys were getting ready for some getting ready photos of them. Then we made it to the venue and started getting the beautiful Emily in her wedding gown!
Emily chose to do a first look with her dad and step dad as well as one with her two brothers. Both were so heartfelt and had everyone teary eyed. Levi and Emily did not want to see each other before the ceremony so we did formal photos of each side of the bridal party as we geared up to say I do.
A Beautiful Lakeside Ceremony
The ceremony space was on a deck overlooking a lake – holy gorgeous. The sunset at this 6:30 ceremony made everything so dreamy. I hear a lot of wedding ceremonies but this one definitely tugged at my heartstrings more than most. The couple chose 2 different poems to be read by close friends and family. These made the ceremony feel so intimate. Levi even had a chance to wipe Emily’s tears during this section.
They sealed the deal with a kiss and we moved on to taking some family photos on the deck with the sunsetting in the background. I love capturing a photo of them showing off their rings at the end of the aisle. A perfect ending to the most beautiful ceremony.
It’s Party Time
Next it was time for the fun part! We moved into the reception and celebrated the newlyweds. Levi and Emily shared their first dance and Emily split her father daughter dance between her father and step-dad. The anniversary dance continues to be my favorite part of every wedding reception. They cut their beautiful (and delicious!!) cake and toasted to their nuptials. All that was left to do was dance the night away.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Kapicka – thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day! Wishing you both a lifetime of wedded bliss.
