Wedding # 2 of my double header brought me to Madison, Indiana for Chris and Sydney’s Rustic Barn Wedding. This Sunday wedding was so beautiful and laidback. I am so glad that I got to be a part of it!
Rustic Barn Wedding at The White Barn Venue
Having visited The White Barn Venue this past spring for Chris and Sydney’s engagement photos, I was excited to be back for their wedding day! Chris and Sydney met at horseshoeing school so obviously a barn is the perfect venue for this couple. Sitting on 49 acres of rolling hills, this indoor outdoor venue is one of my favorite barns that I’ve worked in!
Their bridal suite and groom’s quarters are GORGEOUS and super spacious. As a photographer, getting ready spaces with lots of space and natural light are something I drool over! Despite a little bit of a late start to the ceremony due, they tied the knot overlooking the beautiful Indiana countryside.
Sunday Afternoon Celebration
Sunday weddings always make for the most relaxed receptions and I absolutely love them. I’m a bit biased because I got married on a Sunday as well. Chris and Sydney served some yummy southern comfort food for dinner and 4 delicious flavors of cake. They shared their first look and opened up the dance floor with the anniversary dance and a group photo!
I’m a sucker for any dance party that includes line dancing so when they broke out Copperhead Road, it was hard for me to not hop in and dance along. The flower girl spun in her fluffy dress all night long and lots of kiddos let out all their energy on the dance floor. The venue has an iconic vintage couch that they put right in front of a cornfield for photo opportunities. This couch was a main character of this wedding.

At the end of the night, we ushered the couple out with a sparkler send off (although it wasn’t quite dark yet). This Louisville Wedding Photographer is going to have to do some editing magic to make those sparkler photos really pop. With a little bit of extra time in their contract, the bride and groom brought me to Historic Downtown Madison for a few more photos. These ended up being some of my favorite of the night!
