Another weekend, another wedding under my belt! My schedule is full of Kentucky Wedding Photography now until the end of the year. Seth and Savana are just the sweetest couple – I am so lucky to have been a part of their wedding day!
Seth and Savana’s Summer Wedding in Oldham County
These two tied the knot at the Land O’Goshen Farm and Event Center in Goshen, Kentucky. Sam and I shot a video wedding there last September and it was wonderful to be back as the lead photographer. Savana started her day getting ready in the bridal suite with her girls. Her bridesmaids are some of the most supportive girls I have witnessed on a wedding day. It’s always so lovely to see strong female friendships in real time.
Seth and Savana shared a “first no look”, taking time to pray together before the ceremony without seeing each other. I love getting to third wheel during these intimate moments of a wedding day. Seth and Savana’s love for each other is so evident when you watch them interact. Tears were shed by both parties (the photographer’s eyes may have gotten a little hazy as well). Savana also shared the sweetest first look with her dad before the ceremony.
Time to Tie the Knot!
The ceremony was beautiful in the field next to the barn. There was shade coverage and a nice breeze, a pleasant surprise for an August wedding in Kentucky. They shared communion together before they made it official with their first married kiss.
The rest of the wedding day unfolded quickly as we took lots of family photos and started the reception. The energy in the barn was electric – you can tell this couple is so loved and supported by their community. I was able to sneak Seth and Savana off for a few sunset photos before I left for the night but I know they enjoyed their party for hours after I left!

I get to meet so many amazing couples doing Kentucky wedding photography. I am so grateful to have been a part of Seth and Savana’s wedding day. It was truly an honor to witness their union and I am confident that their marriage will be fruitful and full of steadfast love for each other and the people around them.
