I am ready for fall weddings but August came to a close in the best way. Dalton and Grace had the most beautiful summer wedding at Hazelnut Farms and it was an absolute honor to capture it. Grace is just a ray of sunshine and her yellow decor reflected that beautifully. Dalton is so genuine and his love for his new wife radiates in how he looks at her.
A Colorful August Wedding for Dalton and Grace
Hazelnut Farms is the perfect backdrop for a summer wedding. The private grounds are beautifully landscaped, giving endless options for beautiful photos! Dalton and Grace chose a whimsical, summer color palette of yellows and blues. There were so many personal details around the venue, adding even more character to the event.
Grace and Dalton both bring so much joy to each room that they enter. As they got ready separately, the energy in the venue was infectious. Dalton rocked a white tuxedo jacket with a black bowtie while the groomsmen sported classic black tuxes. The bridesmaid’s wore butter yellow satin gowns, channeling Kate Hudson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I think this may be my favorite bridesmaid color of the year so far. Grace was a goddess in her ballgown with lace bodice. Her veil had the most perfect lace details around her face and her hair and make-up were flawless.
After taking some photos around the venue, the bridal party tucked away while guests began to arrive for the ceremony. It was a hot day but all of that melted away when Dalton saw Grace for the first time walking down the aisle. The ceremony was simple and heartfelt. After exchanging vows and rings, Dalton and Grace shared their first married kiss and were officially announced husband and wife!
Now officially married, Dalton and Grace were ready for the rest of the evening. We enjoyed taking some photos around the grounds and then it was party time. Their first dance was very impressive with effortless choreography. The father of the bride, best man, and maid of honor gave heartwarming toasts that brought the crowd to tears. And after cutting the cake, the dance floor opened and stayed full all night.
Finally, it was time for the celebration to come to a close. The newlyweds shared a private last dance in the empty venue. I love this tradition and think it’s the perfect way to bring the focus back to the couple’s love for each other after a long day.
Congratulations to The Robertsons
I am sending lots of love to these the new Mr. and Mrs. as they embark on this new chapter of their love story. It was a pleasure to be a part of their wedding celebration. Their summer wedding at Hazelnut Farms was stunning and I can’t wait to share some of my favorite photos. Keep scrolling to see some of the highlights!
