Another Monday, another wedding blog for you! I am so excited to share about this wedding day. After a very rainy week in Louisville, you could not have asked for better weather in the Bluegrass for an April wedding.
Despite only having lived in Kentucky for 10 months, Madelin + Killian had a true Kentucky wedding in two of my favorite venues in Louisville. Their families traveled from all over the country to celebrate with them and the day did not disappoint!
Surrounded by loved ones, they exchanged vows at Caldwell Chapel. This chapel is the most beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony with it’s high ceilings and stain glass windows. Madelin, a vision in her lace gown, walked down the aisle to Killian, whose teary eyes never left her. They exchanged thoughtful and heartfelt vows that had even this season wedding photographer a little misty eyed.
After photos at Gardencourt and a fun trip on the Louisville Trolley, the celebration continued at the Seelbach Hotel. In the soft glow of a spotlight, Madelin and Killian’s first dance as newlyweds marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with love and happiness. After heartfelt toasts and a delicious cake made by the maid of honor, the dance floor opened! And the dance floor was full the entire night – the best sign of a good party!
A picture perfect spring wedding ceremony for one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of working with. The love and support for this couple was so evident the entire day.
