Megan + Zack

Weddings

The Loft at Glassworks | Louisville, Kentucky | June 1, 2024

Megan and Zack are officially MARRIED! I was back at The Loft at Glassworks in Louisville, Kentucky for the third time this year to make Megan officially a Romano. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their wedding day. Keep scrolling to see a few (80+) of my favorite photos from their June wedding!

Megan and Zack went the timeless route with a black and white color scheme, the space adorned with white florals, lots of greenery, and gold accents. Simple and classic. To say I was obsessed is an understatement. The day started slow as the girls got ready in the bridal suite. The guys arrived on a party bus and opted for some fun game day photos (one of my favorite wedding trends!)

Megan shared some special first looks with her bridesmaids, dad, and brothers until the big event – her first look with her groom. The Loft at Glassworks is the perfect venue for a rainy wedding day because indoor portraits in the industrial space are always welcome. Ahead of schedule all day (a photographer’s dream!!) we had fun taking bridal party portraits and family formals all before the ceremony.

Megan and Zack had tons of special touches to their wedding day including family member’s dressed as their “something blue” and personalized napkins featuring their pup Zoey, who was celebrating from home. My favorite moment of the day was when they had Megan’s grandfather and Zack’s grandmother act as witnesses and sign their marriage license.

The ceremony was officiated by Zack’s brother and was full of funny stories and lots of tears from the bride. Their immediate families participated in a ring warming ceremony – each taking time to individually pray over the wedding rings. Zack and Megan were announced at Mr. and Mrs. Romano for the first time and sealed the deal with a kiss. The guests threw flower petals as they left the ceremony as husband and wife.

The celebration continued on with a Cincinnati Bengal’s themed grand entrance, beautifully choreographed first dance, and the cutting of a yummy red velvet cake! Their friends and family danced the night away – leaving the dance floor full all night long! The energy in the room was electric and the love for this couple was so evident.

Wishing Mr. and Mrs. Romano a lifetime of happiness. I am so glad that I got to capture their wedding day and be just a small part of their love story.
