Noah + Meredith | September Wedding at The Refinery

Weddings

I can’t believe October is right around the corner. 2026 has flown by! To close out my September weddings, Noah and Meredith hosted a beautiful September Wedding at The Refinery. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their intimate celebration of their love. Keep scrolling to read more about it and see some of my favorite images from their day.

A Late Summer Southern Indiana Wedding

You can’t go wrong with The Refinery as the backdrop for an event. With a smaller guest count, Noah and Meredith were able to use drapes to split the South building in half for ceremony and reception. Their wedding was one of the last 90 degree days of the year so having their entire celebration inside was absolutely perfect.

The color palette was soft and romantic – baby pink with gold and pearl accents. The bridesmaid’s pink dresses complimented Meredith’s flowing blonde curls and classic gown perfectly. Noah and groomsmen wore blue suits with pink floral boutonnieres. Noah and Meredith kept their wedding party small, with two bridesmaids and groomsmen on each side. This kept the energy intimate and laidback throughout the entire day.

After they were all glammed up, Noah and Meredith shared a heartwarming first look. They read vows privately to each other before the guests arrived. Next, it was time for the ceremony which was short and sweet. After the exchange of rings, they made it official with a kiss and were finally announced husband and wife!

Guests began mingling for cocktail hour as I stole the newlyweds away for a few photos. We took a short drive to the Falls of the Ohio and used the Louisville skyline as a backdrop for some portraits. There was a group high school students nearby taking photos for homecoming who all showered the beautiful bride with compliments.

Afterwards, it was time for the reception to officially begin! Meredith and Noah shared special dances with their parents after their first dance as a married couple. The dance floor opened and everyone could relax as all the formalities were finished. It was time to truly celebrate and enjoy the final moments of this highly anticipated day.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.Forkner!

Sending lots of love to these two lovebirds in this new chapter of their love story. It was such a joy to get to know them and celebrate this special day alongside them. Their September Wedding at The Refinery was a perfect way to officially finish the summer wedding season here at MM Photo Co.
