August is here and you know what that means? One step closer to fall wedding season and cooler weather! This Kentucky summer has been brutal but thankfully, I’ve had some gorgeous summer weddings to get me through the heat. Aaron and Morgan’s August wedding at The Olmsted was no exception. Timeless and classy vibes for this Friday wedding celebration.
A Timeless Friday Wedding in Louisville, Kentucky
Aaron and Morgan’s wedding day started at the historic Galt House Hotel. First, some sweet photos with the bridesmaids in their matching PJs. Then it was time for the bride to get all glammed up. Morgan was absolutely stunning in her strapless, jacquard gown. She paired it with a simple veil, flowing neck scarf, and classic ivory and green bouquet. Truly a stunning bride.
Elsewhere, Aaron prepared for this momentous day. In classic black tuxes, the groom and groomsmen looked timeless and formal. Morgan and Aaron decided not to share a first look so the anticipation built as they waited to see each other down the aisle. The bride did share a quick first look with her dad and then it was time for the ceremony to begin.
Finally, it was time for Morgan and Aaron to make things official. Aaron was tearful as Morgan walked down the aisle in The Olmsted’s grand main hall. Their ceremony demonstrated their deep love for each other and their commitment to their faith. After the exchanging of vows and rings, the bridal party prayed around them. After all the formalities were done, Aaron and Morgan shared their first married kiss and were announced husband and wife.
Afterwards, the reception begun with dinner. Following, the best man and maid of honor gave toasts to the newlyweds. Morgan dedicated her bouquet to her mom, I love the love between a mother and daughter! After cutting the cake, bride and groom shared their first dance as husband and wife.
The dance floor opened and the crowd kept it full all night! Soft pretzels and donuts were served as late night snacks. Finally, the night came to an end. Surrounded by their family and friends, Morgan and Aaron made their grand exit and drove off into their happily ever after.
