On March 22, 2024, love filled the air at the Artisan Loft at Glassworks in Louisville, Kentucky, as Garrett and Shirlee embarked on the beautiful journey of marriage. Set against the backdrop of this iconic venue, their wedding was a timeless celebration of commitment, romance, and cherished memories. Although it was only my first wedding of the year – I’m pretty confident that it will rank as one of the most FUN weddings of my 2024 season.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Louisville, the Artisan Loft provided the perfect blend of industrial charm and contemporary elegance for Garrett and Shirlee’s special day. The venue’s exposed brick walls, towering windows, and breathtaking views of the city skyline served as a stunning canvas for their love story to unfold.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by the warm ambiance and enchanting atmosphere of the loft. Soft twinkle lights adorned each table, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and romance. Friends and family mingled, sharing stories and laughter, as they eagerly awaited the moment when Garrett and Shirlee would exchange their vows.
The ceremony itself was a heartfelt expression of love and devotion. After sharing a their private vows during their first look, Garrett and Shirlee stood hand in hand in front of their friends and family promising to support and cherish each other for a lifetime. Unique touches like a selfie with the officiant and a unity sand ceremony in a picture frame of one of their engagement photos made their ceremony extra special. They sealed the deal with a kiss and then the real fun began!
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a cocktail hour while Shirlee hid away in a closet and CHOPPED all her hair off. A Tik Tok trend brought to life at this wedding, Shirlee went from bride to wife with a literal transformation. So much fun being a part of it.
This crowd was fun y’all. Laughter and music filled the air as everyone danced the night away, celebrating the newlyweds and the joyous occasion. Lots of shots, sunglasses, and event some lap dances to cap off the evening.
As the evening came to a close, Garrett and Shirlee stole a quiet moment together, in the elevator reflecting on the whirlwind of emotions and memories that had filled their day. As Garrett and Shirlee bid farewell to their guests and embarked on their journey as husband and wife, they carried with them the timeless memories of their wedding day at the Artisan Loft. A day filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities, it was truly a celebration to remember.
