As we kicked off April with Allison and Tim’s April Fool’s Day wedding in Lexington, Kentucky, I am reminded just how much I love what I do. Yesterday was a dream and I am so excited to share the first few photos from The Shull’s special day!
April Fool’s Day in Lexington, Kentucky
Allison and Tim’s wedding took place at the Round Barn Stable of Memories in Lexington, Kentucky – a venue that I truly think has THE quintessential Kentucky vibe. The classic barn with the horse track only steps away screams bluegrass to me. We lucked out to grab the most Kentucky photo I’ve ever taken with the horse race in the background. Talk about an epic shot.
A Windy Wedding Day
It was a blustery day in Lexington, with 20+ MPH winds throughout the entire. Despite the weather that was not ideal, Allison and Tim’s day was truly magical. They had so many spring colors and personal touches that I had the pleasure of capturing. As beautiful as the portraits of this wedding are, they don’t compare to the love that these two have for each other. This couple is so in love, which is so evident when you watch them interact. And they are surrounded by an amazing community of friends and family that fully supported them and their union. The excitement felt almost tangible in the air throughout the day and it grew as the celebration went on.
