Kevin and Ashley’s summer wedding at Huber’s Orchard and Winery was full of charm. The sun was bright, the air was hot, and love was everywhere. As a Louisville wedding photographer, I love capturing days like this.
A Summer Wedding Celebration at the Orchard
Ashley looked stunning in her satin ball gown. Adorned with lots of sparkle, she looked like a true princess on her wedding day. She was glowing from the moment she stepped into it. Kevin wore a navy suit that tied in perfectly with their color palette—baby blue, pink, and navy.
Before the ceremony, they shared a first look and read private vows. It was sweet, quiet, and full of emotion. This private moment gave them time to breathe and connect before walking down the aisle. It also gave us the chance to capture some of the most meaningful moments of the day.
The ceremony took place under Huber’s beautiful pergola overlooking the vineyards. The ceremony space beautifully decorated by Hart Florals and Design. Guests smiled through the heat, fanning themselves but still fully present as bride and groom exchanged vows and rings.
After they officially tied the knot, the reception space welcomed everyone with air conditioning, appetizers, and cool drinks. Kevin and Ashley shared their first dance and special dances with their parents. Ashley dedicated a bouquet to her mom, a very sweet moment to honor the mother of the bride. After touching toasts by the matron of honor and best man, it was time to party!
As the sun began to set, we slipped out for golden hour portraits. The vineyard glowed in soft light. It was peaceful, romantic, and absolutely worth the extra few minutes. Huber’s Winery is a gorgeous venue, especially for summer weddings. It offers both beauty and comfort. If you’re getting married in Southern Indiana or near Louisville, it’s a great choice.

Kevin and Ashley’s day was full of joy, laughter, and love. I’m so grateful I got to be part of it.
