Another weekend, another beautiful October wedding. So excited to share Austin and Tiffany’s beautiful fall wedding day at The Hidden Homestead in Smiths Grove, Kentucky. It was such a fun day full of celebration and I was so lucky to have been a part of it.

I met Austin and Tiffany last year and we had such a sweet coffee meeting talking about their wedding plans for this October. Throughout the process, we discovered that Austin is good friends with Jake, one of my 2023 fall grooms. If you’ve been reading my blog posts for a while you may see some familiar faces in these photos! I love getting to see my former couples at weddings and getting to catch up on their lives since their big day.

A Fall Wedding at The Hidden Homestead

The weather could not have been better for this fall wedding – it was SUCH a gorgeous day. The Hidden Homestead is located in Smiths Grove, Kentucky – about a 90 minute drive from Louisville. The venue is owned by a fellow wedding photographer and it showed! The venue is filled with picture perfect spots which makes my job so so fun.

The ceremony space features a pergola adorned with gorgeous fall flowers overlooking a lake, a beautiful backdrop for a golden hour ceremony. Austin saw Tiffany for the first time walking down the aisle and it was such a sweet moment. Tiffany was absolutely beautiful in her classic satin wedding gown with a lace cape and fall bouquet. The ceremony was personal and touching, including special moments with their children celebrating not only the beginning of a marriage but the creation of a family. They sealed the deal with a kiss and they were officially MARRIED!

Food, Fun, Family and a Full Dance Floor

Once they made things official, it was time for the fun part! Austin and Tiffany shared their first dance as a married couple and the backdrop made for some of my favorite first dance photos of all time. After a yummy dinner, the best man and maid of honor gave touching toasts to the newlyweds. Austin and Tiffany’s reception was one of the best of the year with the dance floor full the entire night! This family knew how to have a good time and I enjoyed every moment of capturing it.
