And with that, our May weddings are over and our spring wedding season has finally come to a close! Let me tell you, this one was a perfect way to wrap up a busy season. Lauren and Keaton know how to throw a party! It was truly an honor to capture their wedding day. Keep scrolling to see some of my favorite photos from their spring wedding at The Gatsby.
A Spring Wedding to Remember
The day began with Lauren getting ready with her bridesmaids by her side. The getting ready playlist set the tone for the day and I knew then that we would be having a good time! Lauren looked absolutely stunning in her fitted satin gown with pearl details. She wore her mother’s veil, a sentimental touch that brought her bridal look together.
Keaton looked quite handsome in his classic black tux. As he prepared to share private vows with his bride, his nervous energy was so sweet. Although they did not see each other before the ceremony, this private moment established the mood. After sweet words and a few happy tears, it was time to officially get married! Their ceremony was short and sweet and after all was said and done, they were husband and wife!
After taking some photos around downtown Shelbyville, it was time for the party to begin! The energy at this reception was infectious. After all the formalities were finished, the dance floor stayed full all night long. With some brief intermissions to cut the cake and to do a quick keg stand, Lauren and Keaton spent their first few married hours dancing the night away.
At the end of the night, the bride and groom shared a private last dance. Together, they savored the last few moments of the day they had planned for. Meanwhile, the guests lined up to send the newlyweds off in style. Surrounded by their loved ones, Lauren and Keaton made their grand exit and kicked off a new chapter together.
