Caitlin and Phil’s Spring Wedding at The Olmsted in Louisville, Kentucky felt like the very start of the season. March can be unpredictable. However, their day brought a rare surprise—bright sunshine and 80-degree warmth. What a great way to really kick off my spring wedding season!
A Perfect Spring Wedding in Louisville
From the beginning everything felt fresh, perfect for a spring wedding. Light blue and white details set the tone. Then, touches of greenery added softness and depth. Together the palette created a clean, romantic look that perfectly matched the space.
As always, The Olmsted was a perfect backdrop for a wedding. Natural light poured through the windows all day. As a result, every moment felt airy and bright. Caitlin wore a beautiful gown with lace sleeves and subtle sparkle. Meanwhile, Phil looked handsome in a classic navy tux. The bridal party supported in shades of blue.
The groom waited with quiet anticipation as he prepared to see his bride for the first time. As high school sweethearts, they’ve spent 10 years seeing each other but today was different. When he saw her, his reaction said everything. He smiled and held her close. After finally seeing each other, they shared their vows privately, which set the tone for the rest of the day.
As the ceremony began, guests stepped into the elegant center room of The Olmsted. The ceremony was simple and personal, capturing Caitlin and Phil’s love story beautifully. Finally they made it official with a kiss and were announced husband and wife!
Afterward, the reception started and the celebration really began. After a lively cocktail hour and delicious dinner, Caitlin and Phil took the dance floor. They shared their first dance as husband and wife, while family and friends beamed from all around.
In the end, this Spring Wedding at The Olmsted was simple in the best way. Thoughtful details. Beautiful light. Genuine connection. And above all, a day that felt as warm and inviting as the season itself.
