Becky and Nathan’s winter wedding at Hotel Distil in downtown Louisville was the definition of modern elegance. From the moment the day began, everything felt intentional, warm, and festive, despite the crisp winter air outside.
Hotel Distil provided the perfect backdrop. Its sleek design, rich textures, and moody lighting created a romantic atmosphere that felt both intimate and elevated. Meanwhile, the downtown Louisville skyline added an urban edge that paired beautifully with a little bit of snow on the ground.
Becky got ready surrounded by her closest people. Laughter filling the room as soft winter light poured through the windows. Becky’s dress was handmade by her mother so getting dressed was extra special. The bridesmaid’s green velvet dresses tied in the season perfectly.
The ceremony was heartfelt and timeless. Winter florals, neutral tones, and subtle greenery softened the modern space and added warmth. As Becky walked down the aisle, all eyes were on her. Nathan’s reaction said everything. They shared a unique unity ceremony – combining glass crystals that will be blown into a glass ornament for their future Christmas tree. How fun!
Afterward, the celebration moved seamlessly into cocktail hour and the reception. Candlelight flickered across tables, reflecting off glassware and creating a cozy glow throughout the room. Guests enjoyed the energy of downtown Louisville while celebrating inside a space that felt inviting and refined. Becky and Nathan shared their first dance and then it was time to party. Top Shelf had the dance floor full all night!
Congratulations to the Wirths!
Winter weddings have a magic all their own, and this wedding at Hotel Distil captured it perfectly. Becky and Nathan’s day was stylish yet emotional, modern yet timeless. It was a beautiful reminder that winter weddings aren’t just romantic—they’re unforgettable. Wishing these newlyweds a Merry Christmas and a lifetime of happiness together.
