And just like that, October wedding season is over. Julia and Emerson’s Fall Wedding at The Gatsby in Shelbyville, Kentucky was great way to this marathon month of weddings! The Gatsby, with its art deco charm, historic architecture, and moody lighting, set the perfect stage for an unforgettable celebration.
As I arrived at the venue, trick or treaters were mingling on the streets. The fall vibes were at peak level, like something out of a Hallmark movie. The day started as both bride and groom got ready with their bridal party. Julia’s bridesmaid’s hyped her up as she got dressed in a gorgeous corseted gown. Emerson gave his groomsmen customized Funko pops, a fun gift to thank them for the support!
Before the ceremony, Julia and Emerson shared a private first look. The moment was full of emotion as they shared tear-filled vows. It was the perfect way to start their day. Afterwards, the bridal party took some time to take photos to celebrate the occasion. Then the couple was hidden away as guests began to arrive.
During the ceremony, Julia walked herself down the aisle while Emerson couldn’t hold back his smile. Officiated by a friend, the ceremony was personal and perfectly celebrated their love story. After exchanging rings, they sealed the deal with a kiss and were officially announced as husband and wife.
After the I dos, we took to the historic main street in Shelbyville for some outdoor photos. The fall weather was perfect and the leaves were just starting to change! As the bridal party entered, the celebration came alive with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. The Gatsby’s rich architectural details provided stunning backdrops for every photo.
