Simon and Mackenzie’s wedding was the kind of day that feels like it belongs in a storybook. Truly a perfect blend of love, laughter, and lots of color! Held at Parker’s Landing, Simon’s family property, the celebration embraced everything we love about the spring season. It was truly an honor to capture their Parker’s Landing Wedding.
The Perfect Spring Wedding on a Family Farm
Simon and Mackenzie are one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the chance to work with. They put so much thought into each detail of the wedding and it was so evident. From the family tree to the colorful signature cocktails that matched the bridesmaids dresses to the handwritten signage, each detail came together to perfectly tell Simon and Mackenzie’s love story.
Set against a backdrop of rolling green fields, their ceremony took place under a huge tree with colorful flower arrangements in a semi-circle around their feet. The couple exchanged personal vows that showcased their hobbies and humor. Surrounded by all the people that love them most, Simon and Mackenzie sealed the deal with a kiss. Finally in true Swiftie fashion, they processed to Paper Rings, now officially husband and wife.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn of the historic home. With yard games and signature cocktails, joy was radiating from all in attendance. Next it was time for the reception under the tent! After a heartfelt speech by the father of the bride, guests enjoyed some of the best wedding food I’ve had in a long time! I kid you not, I have been thinking about the chicken and waffles for the past 4 days.
As the evening turned golden, Simon and Mackenzie shared their first dance and cut their gorgeous cake. All in all, the day was pretty close to perfect. It was a wedding full of heart, home, and the kind of joy that only a spring day on a family farm can bring.
